JSBA is one of the oldest association under the TBCU and one of its biggest contributors. ==History== JSBA was established way back in the year 1947. During those years, the association covers the Sakhan hills range where two Lushai villages existed. But, after the communal problems that started around 1997, the two villages have been evacuated and all the Lushai inhabitants have shifted to Jampui hill and the rest at Mizoram. But, till now, the Sakhan area continue to remain in the association. In Jampui, there are 10 Lushai villages. Most of them are Baptist. In fact, almost 85 percent of the Lushai of Jampui are from the Baptist denomination.
